Our COO Bailey Stuart has been working with the Governor’s Advisory Task Force on Recreational Marijuana, and we are proud to say that HB 119 in the works! This bill will reduce taxes and help alleviate the onerous weight-based tax system we have for cannabis in our state. It provides a relief for our friends in cultivation in the short-term and also giving a long-term solution while allowing the Department of Revenue to develop a new system for cannabis taxation. Be sure to write your House of Representatives in support of HB 119. Let’s work together in securing Alaska’s cannabis industries future!
