Green Jar the Premier Intake Partner for Leaf Bowl
What a whirlwind of an adventure coming to close for the 2022 Leaf Bowl! Leaf Magazines reached out to us once again to help facilitate in the second annual Leaf Bowl held last weekend at the Egan center. What was just one day of an amazing cannabis vendor expo and an awards ceremony packed with a full crowd of excited people, was really a project for us that was months in the making. We jokingly refer to it as a birth, excited to have a baby but also ready to see who took the wins! Since April Green Jar has been working diligently with the Leaf Magazines team to coordinate all of the intake for flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, edibles, concentrates and topical’s. In our back of house our crew went through each entry to process, photograph and ultimately pack into legal limit judging kits. We have been chosen to help with this task now for the last two years due to our diligence in knowing and abiding by all of Alaska’s Marijuana Regulations.
New Judging Categories- Out with the old, in with the new!
This year Leaf Bowl decided to go against the standard judging categories that people are used to with indica/sativa/hybrid. They are helping lead the way with terpene profiles as the new standard. The Leaf hand choose five qualified local judges one of which was our former award winning budtender Jon Lovelace who now exclusively works at Matanuska Medicine Woman and our current lead budtender Jon Osborn, whose knowledge on cannabis and growing flower is beyond compare.
